When I plug my ipod into my computer the computer dosnt read it and I get a messege saying that the device is drawing to much power. How do I solve this problem???

Are you plugging the iPod into a HUB or just the usual USB port on your Mac?

Its just the usual USB port on the Mac
Have you tried rebooting your Mac to see if that makes a difference? What about plugging it into a different USB port or using a different USB cable?

Yes I have tried all of those things and it still dosnt work
If that is the case, it may be time to make a trip to your local Apple Store/Genius Bar and explaining your situation to them.

I had the same problem with mine when I connect the ipod when it's full charged and turn on. The problem never happen when the ipod is charging or i'ts full charged and it's turn off. So just turn off your ipod down and connect to your mac again.
