Q: iDVD will not burn
Upgrading my eMac from OS10.3.9 to Leopard I cannot get my iDVD to burn videos..
I have reduced the burn time down as low as 2x .
I did successfully burn one audio CD and one video but most of the time I get:
Mac OS error Result code 13780. Or multiplex errors.
The upgrade also wiped one of my lanyard iPods )(auto sync) and I cannot repopulate with any playlist.
The upgrade has also made Toast 7 inoperable and of course no higher grades of Toast will work on an eMac.
Can I go back to OS10.3.9?
If I can, will it wipe out my iPhoto, iTunes and Mail - Which all seem to function with no problems with the upgrade?
If I can get iDVD to run Is their any way that iDVD can burn Data as I have relatives all over the world to
whom I send the Family Tree via CD - the files are much to large to send by email.
Of course my hope is that I can back-track to 10.3.9 and my problems will be solved.
I have no problems with my eMac and I hope it will go on for ever.
it's such a pity that Apple tinkers with ONE of its apps so that it will not work at such a crucial level.
I can make as many vidoes as I like - but I just cannt burn them.
My intention was that the eMac introduce my son to Macs and that I woiuld get a new iMac but i cannot pass him a dude piece of kit
