Mini Player must sure be mini

The Preference option to "keep Mini Player on top of all windows" would be really useful in this multi-windowed environment if it worked. I can't seem to fnd it anywhere when I turn the option on. This includes in the window I am playing iTunes in. I am using iTunes 10.4.1. Am I missing some setting?
