In the Finder look in the far left column and click on your home folder (your name with a little house icon). Then Library should be in that, and clicking on Library will show you all your different libraries. Are you looking for a particular thing?
OSX 10.6 Snow Leopard does not hide the User Library Folder.
OSX 10.7 Lion does hide it.
Open a Finder window. Option-Go Library will show the Library folder in the Finder window.
Or permanently:
Open Terminal, then enter:
chflags nohidden ~/Library
Press return, then restart, and it will always be visible until the next major update, when you do the same thing again.

Hello,
I've tried what you suggested and my library is not under the folder. I've also lost my photoshop elements folder after upgrading. Are you able to help?
Thanks,
Jamie
What system are you running?
If it's not Lion or Mt. Lion it is here:
NOTE: In Lion and Mountain Lion the Home/Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and press the Return key - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.

Thank you so much. Would you happen to know how I can find my photoshop elements folder. I've upgraded to snow leopard and now part of the folder is gone. I'm trying to follow the following path to upload photo actions I've purchased.
System Library/Application Support/ Adobe / Photoshop Elements 9 / and then there should be Photo Creations (missing) / Photo effects (missing).
Thanks again for all your help, it's greatly appreciated 🙂
