Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I've got brand new macbook pro 2011.I changed HD to new SSD drive and after clean Lion install Ilife package (which is included with new macbooks) is missing.Tried to find them in App Store in Purchased section,no results...:( Tried to register my serial number at apple registration webside,but it says,that my serial could not be recognized...How can I get my Ilife package back?
Hi. I've got the exact same problem. Just bought a new MBP 3 weeks ago. Changed to SSD and now I'm missing iLife. Contacted Apple Support today and they told me to go to App Store and look under purchased items, but nothing was there! What to do? It comes with a new MBP so I shouldn't have to pay for it right?
Jacob! What i did,after few emails from Apple Support,was Internet Lion Recovery.It downloads Lion straight from Apple Servers and re-installs it.But none of my files was deleted,so it works fine.After all,I've checked App Store and Ilife was ready to be accepted 🙂
