I can't get home sharing to work on my Apple TV(2) nor my Macbook Pro.  It also won't work on any of my Windows 7 PCs.  This appears to just be a recent event.

I tried to turn on my Apple TV and it wanted me to turn on Home Sharing which I had already done.  So, I went back into settings and applied my Apple User ID and my password.  It said my password was invalid!  Don't know how that could be.  I haven't changed anything.  I check my Apple account on iTunes on my Macbook and my Apple ID and password worked just fine.

Once I turn Home Sharing off, I can't get it back on.  All my computers give me an error (5599) and now (-3259 "Home sharing could not be activated because an error ocurred).  Sounds like something Microsoft would say!

Any help out there?

This usually happens when there is a problem communicating with Apple's servers to verify the Apple IDs. Make sure your Internet connection is sound. Problems with DNS can sometimes result in these symptoms as well. Try changing your Internet settings to use different DNS servers.

I think I jumpednthe gun too soon. I was trying to show a slideshow using Apple TV and couldn't get Home Share to work right then and there. After several attempt to log into Hom Share, it finally came back up and I was able to get to all my devices.

Thanks for the rapid response anyway.
