sqlite3.dll is missing sqlite3_wal_checkpoint

With Windows Explorer, navigate to your C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support folder.

Copy the SQLite3.dll that you should find there, navigate to the nearby Mobile Device Support folder, and Paste it in there also.

Restart the programme all should be well

In case that your OS is (64 bit)

1. Open windows explorer, go to location C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support

2. Copy file "SQLite3.dll"

3. Now paste it in the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support

4. Restart the programme, it should not display that message, it should be clear.

This does not work for 10.7.0.21. There is no C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support folder.

I have the same Version and I can find C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support folder.

It sounds like you might have a 64 bit system in which case you need to look at C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple etc - see above

I tried with (x86) still nothing. I'm rather annoyed with this issue for windows.

I have a feeling I know why you can't find it. Your settings in WIndows Explorer has the default setting to not show hidden files, folders, or drives.

So long as you have administrator rights on your computer it is easy to change.

Open Windows Explorer - Click on 'Tools' at the top - then 'Folder Options'.

A new window opens up, then click on 'View'.

If you read the listing a little way down you will see that in all probability the 'Don't show Hidden Files...etc' is selected. Now highlight 'Show hidden files, folders and drives' - then click 'Apply'

Now you should be able to find the Mobile Device Support folder.

I do have show hidden files.

Here's what I'm able to reach:

C:\ Program Files

C:\ Program Files (x86)

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple - From here my options are: "Internet services" and "Mobile Device Support" - "Mobile Device Support" contains: "Drivers", "Net Drivers" "OutlookChangeNotifierAddIn.dll" - Type: Application extension

C:\Program Files (x86) - Contains only "Apple Software Update" which contains "Plugins" "SoftwareUpdate.Resources", "SoftwareUpdateFiles.Resources" the SoftwareUpdate.exe and some .dll files that aren't SqLite.

C:\ProgramData contains an Apple folder. that contains "Installer Cache" and "Lockdown" both do no contain SqLite.

C:\Users\ My personal user name folder\AppData\Local - has Apple and Apple Computer.

Apple folder contains "Apple Software Update" and Apple Computer contains "iTunes", "QuickTime", "SyncNotifier", "WebKit"

C:\Users\ My personal user name folder \AppData\LocalLow = contains Apple Computer again. however this one includes only QuickTime.

Best solution so far, completely uninstall everything and attempt a re-install. haven't tried it and have been hoping for a quicker/easier fix.

It only resides in the Apple Application Support folder. I did a search of my Windows 7 computer with iTunes 10.7 and that is where I found it. C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support. Try the rest of it from what he said, however like I said, I only find it in that one folder.

EDIT: If you do try to uninstall and reinstall iTunes, make sure you follow the instructions in this support document completely http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923, assuming you have a Windows 7 computer.

That one actually worked. I was able to paste it into C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support. Off to do a reset of my computer and see if the notification doesn't pop up.

I have done this and restarted my computer many times and don e this many times and it still is coming up with this error. any suggestion?

Allan123, I have a 64 bit and I have tried your fix and it is still giving me the same message. I wonder if the program is wrong?

So I am assuming you were able to locate the SQLite3.dll file in your Apple Application Support folder, and then copied it into your Mobile Device Support folder.

So my question is, after you tried to start iTunes again, and presumably got the original error message saying SQLite3.dll could not be found, was the one you pasted into your Mobile Device Support folder still there?
