Long single beep noise on startup.

When I started up my MacBook Pro after a software update (EFI and Thunderbolt software), it made a long single beep noise, then showed the Apple logo with a progress bar below it, then flashed the screen, and went to the regular startup with the Apple logo.

I have a MacBook Pro 17", that was purchased 2 months ago, and running Mac OS X 10.7.1 (Lion).

Is this long beep a problem? If yes, what could be the problem?

Well, i too got the same problem after updating the thunderbolt software on my 13 inch MacBook pro.

It doesn't seem to any problem as it occurs only once and after the update whenever we restart or turn on the macbook, it starts with the same light beep.

That thunderbolt software was actually a firmware update. The beep is normal and there usually is a warning about letting the computer run its course during the install.
