I currently have the newest generation "Mid-2011" Mac mini and I want to get some opinions of the simple application, Preview. Is anyone else experiencing awful lag and random force quitting from it? I can't have it open more than five minutes without erratic freezing. Is this a problem likely with my Mac? Or is this likely a problem with the Preview update? Help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

well it is one of the tons of issues that this beloved OS has.
If you want to stick with it, you have to wait for some update to heal preview.app. Might use Adobe Reader or "Skim.app" for pdfs in the meantime.

OS X Lion, Preview hangs under certain circumstances. Also Mail crashes when trying to attach a pdf. I think it's related
