Using 3rd Party Amp Sims in Garageband for iPad

Is it possible to use 3rd party amp sims (e.g. AmpKit, Amplitube) with Garageband on the iPad 2 and if so how do you do it?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.1)

You can't use it within GB for iOS, but what you can do (in the case of AmpKit) is record a clip in AmpKit to a click, then copy and paste that into GB.

What you do is record the clip to a click in AmpKit, then select it in Recordings, export, then select the Copy.

In GB, select the audio recorder option, and then touch the track space, and it'll give the option to paste. Works fine, though it takes some finessing as far as getting drum tracks within GB to line up.

It's probably not ideal, but as you'll find, the AmpKit models are quite a bit nicer in some ways than those built into GB, particularly the high gain models.
