All-day event reminders not working

I don't sync my calendar with Outlook on my PC. Instead, I have set up an exchange server to use with my Google calendar. I have a busy schdule, and make use of multiple Google calendars, and I have found this to be the best solution. However, for some reason, the all-day reminders do not go off. I know some have complained about them going off at midnight, but I would rather it went off at midnight, instead of not going off at all. Any idea how I can fix this?
