Syncing iPhone after itunes reinstall

iPhone 3GS , Windows XP

I recently reinstalled iTunes. Now when trying to sync my phone I get the message that the phone is synced with a different library do you want to erase all data etc. My questions are.

Does this message only apply to the music or will it delete apps too?

I have retored my music library back into itunes so I dont care if it erases the music from the phone

If it is going to delet the apps, I have all of the other folders from the previous install. Can I import all of that back into itunes?

Just looking to get back to where I was before reinstalling.

Thanks

Apps are contained in the iTunes library, so if you restored the entire library they should still be there. Normally when you uninstall iTunes it does not remove the library; unless you explicity delete the library yourself it should not ave been affected.

If, for some reason, the apps are NOT in the library first try to figure out why. Then Authorize iTunes to the same account you purchased the apps with, connect the phone, but do not sync, and choose "Transfer Purchases..." from the iTunes File menu.
