Safari help viewer blank

When I ask for Help in Safari, all I get is a blank window (save for the home button). The Help viewer seems to be working in all my other applications, and if I click on the home button in the blank window, OS X Help pops up just as you would expect. Should I still round up the usual subjects (com.apple.help.plist etc.) and trash them as I would if Help weren't working at all?

Sorry if this is going over old territory.

Hello & Welcome to Apple Discussion Forum Users Helping Users.

each time I reboot the computer, the mac help window is blank. So I have to redelete each time. What gives?

I 'm not sure what gives, perhaps this link to Dr Smokes site
will help, so that your Helpviewer is not blank when it comes up after rebooting your mac. Please read thru so that you understand before you act. good luck,if this does not work, which is not likely, please post new topic.
So that you get the attention your question & problem deserves.
