Primary Administrator Apple ID

Last year I changed my AppleID without first attempting to get the Primary Adminstrator ID changed for the iTunesU site for my University.


Now the original Apple ID is orphaned, and doesn't have any association with my current AppleID and password.


What is the process to have a Primary Adminstrator Apple ID re-assigned or reset?

Send the old and new Apple ID information to iTunes-U-Request@apple.com and we can update the information on the site.

Duncan, from your use of the words "we can update" I assume you're with iTunesU support. We have been trying for MONTHS to get our incorrect account name changed. I just called support and they said the problem cannot be fixed so we should delete the account and do the process all over again. Is this truly the only option? By the way, I emailed iTnues-U-Request@apple.com a short while ago. Looking forward to a reply through either that channel or this forum. As I said, we have been struggling with this problem for MONTHS now....
