How do I remove photos from my iPhone that I accidentally synced from my laptop

I accidentally synced photos from my laptop onto my iPhone. I tried to delete them as I would photos I have taken using my iPhone. However when I select a photo, delete is not an option to choose.

Plug it in, go into iTunes and un-sync them.

iTunes running, your phone connected, under the "Photos" tab, remove the checks/check in the boxes for the photos/albums/folders you do not want on your phone, hit the apply/sync button.
