Adobe Air, total uninstall

Been having the usual Lion problems...seem to center around Adobe Air, specifically the "deny-file-read data...." error (tons of them) in the system log. I've uninstalled Adobe Air using the Uninstall program which was in my Utilities folder. But the error still persists.

I see that there is a folder in \usr\my user name\Library\Application Support\Adobe\Air and have seen on Adobe forum postings that you need to delete this folder. Why the uninstaller didn't is the subject for all things bad, uninstaller-wise, but before I delete it and create more problems, I thought I'd check in here first.

Anyone deleted this folder? Is it safe to do so, with Air already uninstalled?

Many thanks for the help.
