Ok so I have had each of the iPhones since they came out and I use to sell AT&T and my wife works at AT&T. I have called apple and with all of this knowledge I have had no luck. When I open my google maps on my iPhone it closes itself immediately. I have tried soft restore, hard restore, reset to factory settings, setting up as a new iPhone. Any suggestions please

From your computer, email yourself a map and then open it from your iPhone.
FYI, there's a Restart, Reset, Restore from backup and Restore as new. Not sure what the other things you referenced are.

So I just opened the email in my google maps and the map just closed again. As far as resetting the device I believe I have tried all options besides buying a new phone.
A Restore as new will almost certanly solve your problem (uness it's hardware) but it should be your last step.

I remember someone else having problems exactly like this and emailing a map solved their problem. Try creating directions at Google Maps, email them to your iPhone and tap "Show on Google Maps". It's obviously similar to what you did before but now has the directions added.
I emailed a dropped pin to my email earlier too and it didn't fix it
Try emailing the directions... maybe that's the part that's locked up on your Maps app.
If you've restored from a backup and it still has the problem, there's a good chance that something is corrupt and the corruption is being restored along with your backup. Try setting it up as a new phone. This will erase everything on the phone, but if it works after that, the question of where the problem is coming from has been answered. If that works, sync your stuff back to it but DO NOT restore from your backup. That will just bring back the corruption that's causing the problem.
