Iphone 4 keeps turning on and off.

Iphone 4 keeps turning on and off, switching between black screen and black screen with an apple logo (every 10 second). Nothing works. Have tried turning it off, recharching it and have also tried connecting it to Itunes, but it dosent react to anything.

I have a friend how had the exact same problem with his Iphone 4 earlier today.

Somebody was successful. The process is described here: http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=363438.

Cited:

1. Connect your iPhone to the Dock
2. Turn it off while plugged in the Dock
3. Leave it turned off while charging
4. After charging, turn it on while the iPhone is still plugged in the Dock
5. Disconnect your iPhone from the Dock


I guess there shouldn't be any difference between dock and ordinary cable.

The Basic Troubleshooting Steps are:


Restart.. Reset.. Restore from Backup.. Restore as New...



Try a Reset of the Phone... You will Not Lose Any Data...


Turn the Phone Off... ( if it isn’t already )


Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...


The Apple logo will Appear and then Disappear...


Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds...


Release the Buttons...


Turn the Phone On...
