They just said that they don't have any restrictions on. Your post did not help at all, whatsoever.

This is obviously to late of a response but I had the same problem on my iPhone after updating the software the explicit content songs disappeared on my phone's iTunes and I couldnt re download the songs on iTunes as it was greyed out. Even on the iTunes Store purchased them it showed those songs "Not in this phone" but it was greyed out so no possibility of re downloading it at all. So I saw a few post it says to turn off restrictions. But I saw my restrictions were already off so I tried turning on and scroll through I saw the allow content colum and there you'll see Music, Podcast & Itunes U, turn on explicit. After I did that everything went back to normal! Hope this helps anyone with this problem.
