Mail issues with multiple accounts

I have MacBook Air'13 (2011) with Lion 10.7.1. I notice weird issues with Mail application. I have 5 gmail accounts on Mail.

The issue: I send an email from my primary account and I can see that the message was sent from that primary one. But, I receive a reply to another gmail account and quoted text shows that it was sent from this another gmail account, not from the primary one as I thought. And this happened several times this week and before. Has anyone encountered suhc an issue and if anyone knows how to fix it?

Thanks.

I'm noticing the same thing. I have three separate gmail accounts, and all three are setup in Mail 5 using IMAP.

when I send an email from one account via Mail.app and then log in to gmail (via a web browser), the sent mail appears in every account's sent folder, regardless of which account was used to send it.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this? What is causing it, how to stop it from occuring?

Thanks

Ricky

I have finally found a solution to this issue. The problem is that more than one email account was using the same Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) - just go to mail/preferences/accounts/accounts information/Outgoing Mail Server - further, using arrows choose "edit smtp" and assign to each account a single server, then tick at "use only this server" for each account. That's it, my issue was resolved that way.
