Missing Airport

I have had an Airport Express for about 2 years. I use it only to stream my iTunes library to my home theatre system. A few days ago it stopped working. It does not show up in the menu. The green activation light is on but nothing comes thru from my IMac. Hope this makes sense and someone can help.
