I can't move or reorder my songs inside the playlists themselves.

You should be able to just drag them within the playlist to where you want them.

Is it a regular playlist or a smart playlist?

Select the left-most column, the one with the track numbers.   Then you can drag songs up and down within the playlist.  If you select any other column, the playlist will be sorted in accordance with the column title.

I'm running itunes 10.4.1 btw, I've already done what's been suggested above, I select the left most column, shuffle is off, it's not a smart playlist, and I still can't drag the songs up or down inside the playlist, I used to be able to do this no problem.

For pete's sake, I've got it figured out, it was just a matter of pressing BOTH buttons on my dopey wacom mouse. Then I could select the song and move it where ever I wanted. Off to wallow in deep shame.

See if you are able to do it if you open up the Playlist in a seperate window. Double clicking the playlist should open it up in a seprate window.

I saw something Wacom tablet drivers needing to be updated for the mouse issue.

Also, the Wacom tablet is not working correctly with 10.7 Lion.

This so easy and yet i could not find an easy answer but a little bit of fiddling of my own came up with this:

To the left of "Name" in the bar below the song title, click either the arrow that is pointing down. It will point up and "viola" you will be able to move your tracks up and down.

oh for hells sake, none of you guys should be allowed on a computer lol just kidding, here what you need to do, up at the top of itunes where it says file/edit/view/controls/store/help....... click on view and then select "view options"  and a window pops up that gives you an option on how to sort your music, just change sort by to "manual order" and bam there you go click and hold on any song and drag it around
