Does anybody know a USB 3.0 express card that works with Macbook Pro using Lion?
I just got an IOGear express card from Amazon that did NOT make it clear that it was Windows only.
Only after I tried to install it was it painfully obvious it was Windows only.

Although I haven't tried them, OWC lists two cards. The manufacturer's website for each card says they are Lion compatible.
I have just installed the startech ecusb3s1 USB 3 expresscard attached to a 1TB CORE Ext HDD on my 17" 2011 MBP with Lion using a modified kext available for download here :http://cartri.net/blog/810#comment-15389, and installed with kext wizard, as startech do not provide Mac os drivers for this device and very short sightedly dont look like they are going to either, however it now works fine.

Hi Henrique. I do not see any rason why it should not. Look for mac os Lion drivers for any suppliers that use the same chipset I feel sure there will be at least one.
The problem my friend is the supliers lock the drivers to work only with they hardwares just like lacie does. I have been searching on web an find an topic on insanelymac forum and this guys make work but i do know if will work on the lion 10.7.3 if you still wanna know about take a look on this forum....

You can use this card http://www.caldigit.com/avdrive/Card_laptop.html will work fine to you or with you would like to pay less an have same work to make 100% workable you can buy one NEC based express card for 10$ on ebay but will take some time and patience to work fine...
