Import a calendar into ical
How can I import an individual calendar into iCal in the iPad. When I go to import it I don't get the option to start a new calendar like on a laptop or desktop? Is this possibleon the iPad?

Unfortunately, you cannot add a calendar to the iPad by using the calendar App. Calendars must be added using either another device, or mobile service.
