Set default Maximized size of Preview windows (Lion)

Hi,

I've tried looking this up for a while and can't seem to find a solution. I use Preview to view and edit pdfs, and every time I open a different pdf, the window opens in a square-ish box that I have to resize in order to fit to the screen. However, I don't like to maximize the entire screen to the very bottom, so I leave about an inch when I maximize the window. When I exit out of the pdf and open it again (or try to open a new one), the size is back to the original and I have to resize it again. Is there any way I can make Preview remember how I want my window sized when it opens up? I think there was an option in Snow Leopard to do that (click the green Max. button after resizing to "set") but it doesn't work in Lion. Any suggestions are welcome, thanks!
