Or call AppleCare and give them the model and serial numbers and they can tell you who it is locked to. If it is AT&T you will not be able to officially unlock it.

I don't see any numbers in west Africa, so you will need to make an international call.

Go to Settings>General>About>Carrier .... you should have a carrier firmware there.

If you dont, Go to Settings>General>Network>Cellular Data Network ... check the APN , and cellular data settings.

Then Google the APN name. You could have a pretty good idea who is the carrier of your phone.
