The MIDI in is working fine, and Logic shows that midi events are ocurring in the channel. But the "out" light on the MOTU Fastlane interface is not blinking. If I change to a software synth the midi out works fine.
I'm sure there's a little "button" I don't have set somewhere.

Do the external MIDI tracks have either Port A or B of the Fastrack selected as MIDI Out?
Does this happen on all projects?

I did check all those things, and thanks for the list... sometimes when in a panic one forgets the obvious.
I thought maybe I changed something inadvertently, but not according to your lists, so now I'm going to swap out MIDI interfaces.

All of a sudden midi out to my external synth is not working. Logic shows the MIDI out blinking, but no light shows up on my interface (MOTU Fastlane). Any ideas?
