Scratches on my Nano's screen

Question

Scratches on my Nano's screen

Is there anyway I can get rid of them? Like a bottle of cleaner/ scratch remover? If so, can you provide me with the name, and maybe a link to the prouct?

Also if there isn't a product that removes it, is there any way to remove scratches? Or am I just basically screwed?

PC, Windows XP, 2 GB Black iPod Nano

I would recommend brasso. But i have not tested it .... yet. Search google to see if the brasso works and search to see if there are any other ways. Also to prevent more scratches get a case. I have a Belkin Carabiner case and it rocks and it comes with a plastic screen protector and is a pretty low price compared to most cases.

You can try Meguiars Plastx which is available at most auto parts stores. You may also want to try applesauce polish which I have used and it works really well. Here is the link.

I saw iCleaner and it sounds like it might be something to invest into. Also I checked the AppleSauce cleaner site, and it said I might need to use 10-12 applications for light and medium scratches(it takes a while to do the first few!). So I might go buy iCleaner.

Scrach "removers" only take away the material around the scratch.

It seems that theinvisibleshield.com fills in the scratches when you put it on.

What do you mean by it fills in the scratches when you put it on? It sounds like you're basically saying that my pretty badly scratched up (I use this term lightly, as i have a million tiny, light scratches and a few big medium to deep ones) Black iPod Nano will look like it did the day I got it?

If not, then I probably won't use invisibleSHIELD because I have a (sillicone rubber, hard plastic screen) skin for my nano. What I want is something that will get rid of the scratches without needing to wear the shield all the time (like what iCleaner sounds like)

I tried iCleaner - works ok, but you are supposed to wear a glove when using one of the polishes - nasty stuff

I also tried http://www.applesaucepolish.com on my girlfriends black nano 4GB, works as good or better w/no glove necessary.

i would try iCleaner and then put a PSP screen guard on (cut to fit) works really well (ive tryed it)
