Can I import (MUSIC.wma) in my iTunes Library, for my iPod?

Can I import (MUSIC.wma) into iTunes for an iPod Touch? I know somethinig about formating that may just ignore the import, see my grandmother had got an iPod, and she not only want's her CD's on it, she just wan'ts to know if she can play her windows music collection, with the extention .wma into iTunes . . . if any of you all know if it's possible without having to use any particular third party application please feel free to answer . . 🙂

I think so. iTunes' help says that iTunes can convert WMA files to other formats. The iPod supports:


Audio formats supported: AAC (8 to 320 Kbps), Protected AAC (from iTunes Store), HE-AAC, MP3 (8 to 320 Kbps), MP3 VBR, Audible (formats 2, 3, 4, Audible Enhanced Audio, AAX, and AAX+), Apple Lossless, AIFF, and WAV
