iphone 3g wont turn on.

We need more information. What exactly is wrong with it? What's happening?

My phone does have battery on it. Will not turn on when off the charger. On the charger, the apple logo comes on for about 10-15 seconds then goes away. Nothing after that.
Plug it in via the wall charger and leave it for a couple hours. Then try turning it on.
Is your iPhone backed up? Do you still have a warranty on it?
If you haven't tried these already:
- Hold down the power button and home button for about ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo. This is a hard reset.
- Reset all settings by going to Settings-->Reset-->All Settings.
- Try plugging it into your computer and restoring.
