Applications won't launch after login to different account

My applications won't start when I logout of the current account and then login to another account. The applications will just bounce endlessly until I force quit it. My main account has administrator rights and another account has regular rights. It doesn't seem to matter whether I login to the admin account or regular account first. As long as I logout and then back in to the other one, the applications will just bounce until I restart before I can use my applications on both of these.

I've done a disk verify and fix file permissions.

Anything else I need to do?
