I hooked up my iPod Touch and it would not read on my iMac G5 running 10.4.11. I currently have iTunes 9.2.1. When I plug in my iPod Touch is says I need to download iTunes 10.1. However, the only update available on Apples web site is 10.4 which will not work with OSX 10.4. It requires 10.5. So I am looking for 10.1.2. Any ideas??????? Thanks.

All newer versions of iTunes require Mac OS X 10.5 or newer, so you must upgrade the OS to use the iPod touch.

Hi Niel, Thanks. So 10.1.2 would also requires Mac OS X 10.5 or newer? What is odd, is I recall using this iPod on my G5 computer at one point but we must of upgraded the software on the iPod which requires the newer version of iTunes. We have a new MacBook Pro with Mac OS X 10.6. I will just use the iPod on that unit. Thanks.
