I have a macbook pro and am trying to connect my dell V305w printer, is there anyone who knows how to add the printer to my computer?

As long as there is drivers for OS X then the printer should work, it's possible you will have to visit Dells site to see if there is or not.
I have been looking and I can't seem to find anything. I tried downloading something that was supposed to be compatible but nothing.
Dell is another PC hardware vendor like Apple, it's possible their printers don't have drivers to work with OS X.
I've got the same printer and problem.
You can make your Mac print on the Dell V305/V305w by attaching it via USB and install the printer with "Lexmark 3400 series" drivers.
