How do I use Guitar rig in Logic Express?

Can someone tell me if it's possible to use Guitar Rig 4 in Logic Express 9 and how to go about doing that?

Thanks

Mick

Guitar Rig is a program offered by Native Instruments that let's the user emulate sounds from a variety of amplifiers, both classic and modern as well as rack emulation. It comes it two flavors: free and paid (Pro). And, to be honest, the sonic quality is outstanding. To use it in Logic, simply do the following:

  1. Create an audio channel strip (mono).
  2. Change the input of the channel strip to reflect the input where you guitar is.
  3. Insert the Guitar Rig in the effects insert section, you'll find it listed under AU Instruments I believe.
  4. Start shredding away.

If your audio interface offers it, look into direct monitoring to optimize latency.

Cheers.
