dvd studio pro menu wrong on playback

I'm burning menus that preview well in the simulator. Once they are burned on DVD I play them back on macs.

Some machines open the DVD menu fine first time with DVD player whilst others open the DVD with the menu stretched vertically and can only be fixed by exiting from full screen and then re-entering full screen...

It's a master for many DVDs so I can't have some playing fine first of and others not!

Please let me know if you have had similar issues and how you have mended them. Thanks!

First, try the DVD on another device - preferably a standalone DVD player.

A place to check within DSP is on the menu inspector. make sure you have the setting for aspect ratio the same as your tracks.

Hi! Thanks for your reply. It works fine on a DVD player plugged to a television. It seems to work fine on a couple of my macs but not on another.

One of my tracks is 4by3 and the other 16by9. My menu is set to 16by19.

But this hasn't been a problem before... uhmmm

It's starting to sound like something specific to that player. But I can't find a menu item that might address it on my player.
