Chirping noise coming from iPad 2
Just recently I have noticed that my iPad 2 is emitting a fairly loud chirping noise. Sounds like a bird or crickett. The sound is emitted in two discreet bursts. You can easily hear it across a fair sized room. It is unlike the high chirping noise I have read about, and heard, on the iphone which is a more prolonged single high pitched noise. I know the noise occurs when the iPad is not plugged in to its AC adaptor but is sufficiently charged. It may also occur when plugged in. Not sure. The noise is very internmittent and is not predictable. For example... it does not happen everytime I use a certain app or enter my password.
