AirPort Utility not finding AirPOrt wireless devices

    Hello fromtucsonza,

Sorry to hear that your Airport Utility cannot find your Airport devices.  But this forum isn't Twitter.

We can't help you without details ... like what computer you are using, what OS version, what verison of Airport Utility, exactly what Airport devices you are using.  Also, was this working before and now it's a new problem, or are you trying to set up an Airport Express or Extreme for the first time?

Sorry, I haven't done this before.  This is a brand new AirPort Extreme.  I downloaded the AirPort Utility Setup 5.3.2 for Windows onto my PC that has Windows 7 on it.  The AirPort Extreme is working but I want to be able to use the USB Cable to connect to my printer and I need the Utility.  But the Utilitiy is not finding the AirPort Extreme.  I have read a few things and unplugged everything and then plugged in model, router, and re-opened the Utility and it still doesn't find it.  My old router had 4 ethernet connections and this has 3 plus the USB so I need the USB to work.  AirPort Extreme is set up and working great with my network and getting onto the Internet - this is the only problem.

    Thanks

    Hello fromtucsonaz,

I had this problem as well but fixed it using this article:

    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2235

Basically with my issue, my firewall was blocking Bonjour from finding my AirPort routers.

    Hope this helps,
