can i monitor wifi users on my airport?
I'd like to see who is using my wifi. Is there a benign way to do this?

Are you wanting to let people use your wifi? Just trying to get a handle of what you have going on before I make a recommendation.
I'm just curious who's on. I have given access to a friend and they haven't acknowledged if they have taken advantage of it.
Ahh, gotcha. For a minute you had me thinking you were providing free wifi to the neighbourhood, haha.
Well, so long as you're hooked up to the wireless network at the same time, you should be able to view them as a network connected computer in the finder window. Just have to make sure that in Finder Preferences under the Shared tab, the box is checked next to Bonjour Computers.
Now, obviously this wouldn't tell you if they are on unless you are looking at the time, but it's better than nothing. There might be some advanced script or application out there for actually tracking and logging access to a shared network, but that is beyond me.
Log into your router, they'll all be displayed there. If you have an apple router use Airport utiltity.
Other router use a html interface that you can log on to.

How do you log into the router?
