Bootcamp to VirtualBox

Hi all,

I have an old macbook here that I use to run windows XP using bootcamp. It works great. I also have a MBP with virtual box running Windows 7.

What I want to do, is copy the XP machine from the Bootcamp Macbook to virtualbox on my MBP as it is my main machine. I don't have a copy of the XP install disc and ideally I'd like to copy/clone it so that I can keep all the applications, files and settings.

Is this possible?

What are my options?

VirtualBox cannot import or use a BootCamp Windows to make a Virtual Machine of it.

This feature is only avaiable with the commercial Parallels and VMWare Fusion.

VirtualBoxs Import/Export feature only handles OVF http://www.virtualbox.org/manual/ch01.html#ovf

If you look you would see that VB has not ever supported migrating.

Maybe Parallels can

Just setup a 2nd VM and reinstall XP there.
