Remote Desktop crashing with 27" Thunderbolt display

Got the display yesterday. Did the update today. Using remote desktop to access a windows server that contains our CRM system. Works on the Mac BookAir, but not on the Thunderbolt screen. Then it crashes with the fowwlowing message:

Sort of the point that I wanted a larger work surface - hence the point of taking the expense, but now it seems like a complete waist of money...

And now it turns out that I can't log in to my online banking account either - when using the Thunderbolt display connected to my Airbook 13" then it can't locate the certificate for the bank - when disconnecting the Thunderbolt Display it finds it right away... How can this happen just because I have added a display?

The strange thing is that there seems to be files missing on my computer when I use the diplay - files that appear again when disconnecting the display.

What do I do?

You could also try to use CoRD (open source): http://cord.sourceforge.net/. Please note that the maximum resolution might be limited on the server (or the machine you tried to connect to). I've also seen cases that the colordepth of the remote machine was limited (to 256!) on full screen resolution on the Thunderbolt display. Probably has to do with bandwidth or so...

Even better... Cord works - so far - much better than Remote Desktop and I haven´t come across any restrictions, yet. Another very positive thing is it logs right in. With RD I always have to correct the log in data on every session and go through a series of windows with clicks and closes before finally geetin logged into the system. With Cord I just double click and I am there - wow - after having used RD every day for 4 - 5 years and having to go through this every time.

So far.... thank you, thank you...
