Apple Touch IPOD 64GB 4th G and Samsung Wave S8530

I have Apple Touch IPOD 64GB 4th G and Samsung Wave S8530 mobile but i am unable to connect my IPOD with my mobile via bluetooth.. pls help me..

iPod touch, iOS 4.3.3

you are right, transfer information between the two devices, that's not supported. i m agree with you. but i want to access internet on my IPOD via my Samsung mobile.


Eariler i have Sony Ericsson K790i mobile and i was using internet on my IPOD via bluetooth.


but now i m unable to connect my ipod and samsun via bluetooth. i want to use only internet onm my IPOD via Bluetooth.

OK, so you wish to tether. Does your Samsung support tethering? Does your cell carrier, and if so have you set up tethering in your cell plan?


If so, post back with details about the issue - "unable to connect" doesn't tell us much - and perhaps someone can help. There is also some troubleshooting information from Apple here:

It's oriented around the iPhone's hotspot feature, but there might be some tips that would help.

There is a setting for WiFi on iPod Touch and you can go into Advanced and then DHCP.


So does the Samsung have ability to


act like router


add your iPod MAC address if you want


then use WPA2 like you would normally


Is that the right direction?


I know for me setting up the iPod to actually work with modem/router was.... a frustrating challenge at one point - in part because I've been in the habit of using long password codes etc and just typing anything, and pasting from a PSWD managers.
