SMALL DISC STUCK
A friend just gave me a CD with my wedding photos on it. I was so anxious to view them I slid it into the CD slot without a thought about it being a smaller size. MacBook doesn't recognize it and I don't know how to eject it.

Turn the computer on its side, optical drive facing down, and shake gently. It may fall out. If not take it in for service to have it removed.
mini-CDs are only readable by tray loading optical drives. An external tray loader can be bought from http://www.macsales.com/
For a listing of readable discs by slot loaders, see this article:
After reading similar discussions (which I should have done before posting) I tried sliding an envelope into the slot and that was enough to trigger the eject. Now if I can just find something to play my wedding video disc on I'll be set.
If you have a friend with a desktop Mac or a PC with a tray loading CD player they can transfer the contents to a USB thumb drive for you.
THANK YOU SO MUUCH!!!! I was an idiot and stuck a software disk into my macbook, Derp.... lol
