DNS not working

Hello,


i am trying to wipe the DNS on a snow leopard server to then reconfigure it so that it will be able to point to its self etc for hosting open directory.


does anyone know how to do this?


by terminal ?

Macbook Pro 2008, Mini Mac 2003, Mac Pro 2009, IMac 2008, iPhone 4, Mac OS X (10.6.5)

but i have had to reinstall the hole thing as it is needed tomorrow, ive just got it back up and seams to be working for now, i just hope that for what ever reason it went like that wont happen again.

thanks for your help, it still annoying me cos i know it can be done putting commands in and it will wipe the DNS and let you start again i just couldn't find the commands any where.

New iMac - newest JAVA when I go to play a game the circular colored pointer keeps going round and round - which to me would indicate a stall -- and can no longer play Scrabble (basic game) I keep getting a JAVA log - I do not see the Java Empty Cache for browser in Safari as instructions mentioned -
