This morning I was doing a software update and it had to restart. It now starts up, chimes, shows the logo, shows the spinning wheel, and the bar loads a little bit, and then shuts down. I have done it repeatedly and it does the same thing. I have had this computer for less than a year. I am not too sure what to do now! Any help is appreciated.

Same Thing Happening to me: I tried to repair it, doesn't work, tells me my Mac HD cannot Mount, different threadings (all wrong) and I still cannot repair it with diskutilities....
Just had it happen. Any links to what is going on or what to do?
Couldn't find a solution so I took it to an Apple Store. We decided it was an update that caused the problem and they had to replace the hard drive.
MacBook Pro starts up then shuts down.
