How do I stop objects in pages from snapping to these imaginary lines all the time? I can't get them in the right place.
Question in the title.
p.s. I don't like this new format.

Unfortunately, there is no way to turn off the grid snap, but you can overcome it by holding down the ⌘ key while moving objects with your mouse. You can also use the arrow keys or x/y coordinates in the object inspector.
I suggest you leave feedback for the Pages team regarding this - I did. You can find it under the Pages menu > Provide Pages Feedback. That takes you to the same page as this link.

Yeah I got it thanks. Pretty slick this pages, can do a lot of things with it. Kind of makes me wonder exactly what the point in keynotes is, I guess they have to look like they are competing with windows. Keynotes is terrible, I find it very unworkable and limited.
