Q: disconnecting inactive user in OSX Lion server

Someone know how to activate desactive the disconnet inactive user in OSX Lion Server as we had in previous version of server in File Sharing pane

    It is obvious Apple doesn't care anymore.

    I know this is an old posting, but in case someone else comes across it as I have, you can set disconnect times via the command line for both 10.7 and 10.8 server.

     

    A list of basic idle time out commands can be found at http://support.apple.com/kb/PH8578 . The article states for 10.6, but these also hold true through 10.8.4 (as of the time of this posting).

     

    Basicly in terminal type the following:

     

    sudo serveradmin settings afp:command = value

     

    To enable idle disconnect, type

     

    sudo serveradmin settings afp:idleDisconnectOnOff = on
