iMac bluetooth does not "find" the LMP Keypad. It just keeps searching. Keypad is on.

Imac bluetooth does not "find" the LMP Keypad. It just keep searching. iMac bluetooth is on and in discoverable mode. The LMP Keypad has good batteries, is turned on and I pressed the pairing button.

Hello Avocece

The LMP is NOT attached to the keyboard during the pairing process since you have to turn the thing upside down to press the small black button on the underside of the keyboard during the pairing process. On my LMP, there are 2 buttons on the Right hand edge of the keyboard. A big round silver one that you can use to turn the iMac keyboard (not the LMP keyboard) on and off, and a very small diameter round black button which is the one that controls the On Off state of the LMP keyboard.

OK, so now we have that out of the way, you should be able to connect quite readily via the above instructions.

Cheers

Thank you for posting these instructions. I just had the same problem.

I was able to eliminate most of these instructions by simply Pressing the pairing button on the LMP until the light flashed green, then opening up the Bluetooth preferences and deleting the device. Next I chose "setup Bluetooth device and entered in the numbers and pressed enter. Viola! worked like a charm and no restarting/shutdown needed.
