Q: iMac bluetooth does not "find" the LMP Keypad.  It just keeps searching.  Keypad is on.

John explained the on/off switches well, but just in case you're still wondering which to press, the instructions refer to the the tiny black one on the side. 

As Danni indicaed above, we have to go through this process everytime the batteries are replaced.

Thank you for posting these instructions. I just had the same problem.

I was able to eliminate most of these instructions by simply Pressing the pairing button on the LMP until the light flashed green, then opening up the Bluetooth preferences and deleting the device. Next I chose "setup Bluetooth device and entered in the numbers and pressed enter. Viola! worked like a charm and no restarting/shutdown needed.

This worked perfectly for me! Thank you for the short cut version.

Can someone please clarify this for me? My lmp has one button up top for the keyboard and a slider switch on the side. The only other button is on the backside? Are you saying your on and off button is an actual button?

Worked Great !  Thank You !  I've always hated BlueJunk simply because of this type of behaviour... 

Had same problem, pinwheel no pairing.  Went to preferences and clicked "on" and " Discoverable. Enter to look for device but initially without success.  Pulled batteries out while Mac still looking to pair device.  Put batteries back in and noticed yellow light blinking and pushed pair button in back.  It suddenly paired.

This was awesome, Kristin.  After contacting apple for support and getting nowhere I finally searched for LMP support and landed here.  I am also frustrated, as others on this list, that when buying directly from Apple Store I got a third party product they can't support. Your answer sharing from LMP was a lifesaver!

I tried this process 15 times over 1.5 hours.  No luck.  Thought was getting close as I actually got it to display as a found device a couple times.  Never asked to enter a number.  After last 9 reboots, not able to find it.  Giving up and going with another option....USB driven I guess.

I have restarted the numeric keypad, but if I don't use it for a couple of days, it stops working.  Anyone having that issue?  Any suggestions?  Thanks.  Frustrating of Apple to sell the thing and not support it.

I gave up on this unit.  I never could get it to work again on 4 devices.  I just went out and bought a new keyboard with a numberpad.

What did you buy?  I'm going to bring this thing back to the Apple store.

Did you try the method suggested by Kristinfrommy on April 18, 2012?  She got these instructions from the manufacturer in Switzerland. Worked for me!  Been working for about a year.
