I downloaded the Aperture 3 software to my MAC; can I download the same software to my to my MacBook Pro or do I have to download/purchase another copy?  Thanks!

Thank you Niel.  You are correct.  I just downloaded the software to my MacBook Pro and it was downloaded for free.  After you hit the "Purchase" button, a window pops up that says "you already purchased this software and will be downloaded free"  (not exact wording, but the point was clear).

Its a bit scary to hit the Purchase button if you really don't want to purchase it!

Thanks again.

Redownloads from the Mac App Store are free.

Note during your trial that Aperture is hugely hardware demanding. Apple's published "System Requirements" are grossly unrealistic. Only the strongest hardware will trial Aperture at its best. CPU, GPU, RAM, i/o are all very important. With good hardware Aperture rocks but less good hardware will express less good performance.
