drop down menu not working

Ever since I updated to 5.1, I have had problems with drop down menus not working. When I manually run a credit card on my online gateway, if I don't have all text fields filled out before I use the drop down, its freezes, and it won't work. If its a state, I can type C for california, and it will take it, but if its Colorado I am screwed.

And now I can't even change countries and its stuck on USA, I really don't like this. Either Apple needs to fix this bug, or can I find a prior version and install it as this is a big pain in my butt.

Anyone have a fix, besides going to Firefox? I have such a love-hate relationship with Safari, love it but hate when it pulls this garbage on me.

Try deleting the cache.db file.

Go to ~ / Library / Caches/com.apple.Safari

Move the Cache.db file from the com.apple.Safari folder to the Trash and restart your Mac.

~ (Tilde) represents your Home folder

Also, go to Safari / Preferences then select the AutoFill tab.

Click the Edit button next to: Other forms

Delete the sites you have problems with autofill then click Done.

Quit then relaunch Safari to test.
